Stone Pier Pavilions with Structural Glass Envelopes

A rhythmic progression of red porphyry stone piers anchors this low-slung museum pavilion, where structural floor-to-ceiling glass curtain walls dissolve the boundary between interior galleries and the surrounding park. A floating roof canopy projects far beyond the transparent envelope, casting soft twilight shadows across the foreground reflecting pool and terraced landscape.
