OPEN OFFICE

Based in Culver City, OPEN OFFICE creates multi-family apartments, single-family homes, and community farmstands defined by continuous building envelopes that merge sloped roof-to-wall planes, vertical timber rhythms, and deeply recessed volumetric apertures. This work offers a strong reference for detailing flush skylights in sloped metal roofing, extending exterior wood slat screens directly across glass openings, and integrating cantilevered planters within corrugated multi-story facades.

Red Cinder Rd

A single-story residential precedent featuring a monolithic dark hip roof and deep overhangs designed to integrate into an arid, scrub-covered landscape.

What we like about this project
