LDA Design

Based in London, Bristol, and Cambridge, LDA Design defines public cultural plazas and waterfront promenades through cavernous, faceted canopy tectonics offset by utilitarian stone surfaces and vivid, interactive street interventions. This work serves as a strong reference when balancing muted masonry palettes with high-contrast focal installations and flexible micro-architecture for civic entrance thresholds.

Rendering by LDA Design of POPLAR WORKS public plaza with stepped seating, play equipment, and surrounding multi-level retail spaces.

For forty years, we have helped shape the world around us for the better.

A public realm precedent by LDA Design showing an active multi-level urban plaza that integrates stepped seating, play features, and commercial terraces.

What we like about this project
Rotating bowl-shaped seating units scattered at the foreground create an interactive playground edge directly on the plaza floor.
