Archimaera Architecture

Based in New York, Archimaera Architecture designs mixed-use commercial high-rises defined by expressive urban thresholds, where heavy brick arches spring directly from the sidewalk and mid-tower structural legs drop into open public plazas. The portfolio serves as a precise reference when detailing the seam between deep masonry reveals and continuous glazed storefronts, or when resolving large-scale structural loads at the pedestrian level.

Street elevation of 29 Wythe apartment building by Archimaera Architecture featuring light brick facade and dark metal balconies.

29 Wythe — ARCHIMÆRA

An exterior street elevation precedent for multi-family residential architecture using articulated light masonry, punched window grids, and rhythmically staggered balconies.

What we like about this project
The central roofline steps upward in two distinct volumes, breaking the cornice line and adding vertical drama.
